Ladies and Gentlemen, a 6x6 truck from the 27th Infantry Battalion of the Phil Army will standby in front of St Michael School of Padada on 30 December 2011 to receive donations from SMC/SMSP alumni who want to give something to the flood victims of Typhoon Sendong. Donated items (kitchen utensils, blankets, canned goods and rice are badly needed) will be sent to our base in Davao City for consolidation and subsequent transport to Iligan and CDO Cities.

Likewise, be informed that as of yesterday (27 Dec) the Municipalities of Kapalong and Asuncion in Davao del Norte are also flooded as high as 7 meters. Army troops in that area are busy rescuing flood victims since last night. Most of them are now relocated to the municipalities' Gym and other public facilities.
