I am embarking on a personal campaign to stop the illegal gambling (LAST 2) in our place. This social cancer has been pestering our town for the past several years that it has destroyed the  moral fiber of our community. I have seen once-respectable personalities fall victim to this social anomaly that "last 2" have replaced God as the center of their lives thereby neglecting anything else including family relationship and sense of propriety . I am  a witness how this illegal gambling have eaten up the righteous behavior of our commuity. It has incubated from being a social irritant to a social cancer over the past many years. If left unchecked this will destroy us all.

 I am calling all those who cared to join me in this effort. Let's cure our town before everyone gets infected with the virus of this lingering disease. I will exhaust all my powers and influence to carry out this self-declared mission to STOP LAST 2 in order to restore morality in our town.

As an initial move, I plan to:

    1.    invite  media friends who came from Padada (Alex Roldan of RMN Davao AM radio and Emmanuel Roldan of Super Balita among others) to provide the press efforts for the widest dissimination of this campaign.

    2.    call on the parish priest to help me on this undertaking.

    3.    attend municipal council session so i can officially request that a resolution be made for the stoppage of LAST 2 in order for our local police to act on this.

    4.    report to provincial/regional police office if local PNP will not act on this matter so that they shall be replaced by incorruptible men.

Rest assured that all actions to be taken will be within the limits of our laws. Any suggestions how this campaign shall be undertaken are very much welcome. Let us all be guided by Edward Burke's " The only neccessary thing for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
